The Golf Association from Michigan and our web hosting sponsor, Boyne Resorts, present the 2nd GAM State Scramble Championship.
Teams will be able to pick from golf courses in your area using the four major regions through the state, private and public facilities at the local level.
The Net and Yucky winning teams from each local qualifier will advance to 1 of four Regional Shining sites. Winners from all the four Regional qualifiers will compete inside State Championship September 19th at Boyne Resorts- Alpine Course.
An added perk to be able to those teams that reach nys Championship, they gain the additional player of a Mich PGA Section professional health of their choice.
Winning teams of division will receive your $500 gift certificate to get use at Boyne Areas. The winning professional's purse could be up to $5, 000, determined simply by participation.
Format: Some sort of (4) Person Step To one side Scramble. All players golf tee off on each pit. The player whose ball is selected for play may well not play the next shot relating to the hole being played. This "Step Aside" approach applies for play through the green, in hazards and on the putting green until this ball is holed.
Eligibility: Each 4-person team need a total aggregate handicap catalog of 36. 0 or higher with two team subscribers allowed a GAM/USGA Handicap index of lower than 10. 0 (NEW meant for 2013). Teams are then handicapped using the total team index. This may be a Net and Gross competition. There will be split tees for Men, Senior Men (50 yr old as of May 1, 2013) together with Women.
