STOCKHOLM a' A Swedish league fit between Djurgarden and Mjallby was forgotten Monday following a Mjallby person was struck by a pear. Angry supporters at Djurgardenas home stadium in Stockholm put containers, coins, fresh fruit and other materials onto the pitch as Mjallbyas players recognized a target in the 37th moment. Television footage revealed Mjallby defender Gbenga Arokoyo falling to the surface after he was hit by an object in the stomach. Remedial broadcaster SVT said it had been a pear. Arokoyo said after the game he was in pain but not seriously injured. The referees decided to reject the match following a meeting with police and representatives from both clubs.
