Borussia Dortmund are facing up to the probability of losing two key people come early july after the representative of Robert Lewandowski said a package has been worked on for the Poland global to leave the Westfalenstadion. Lewandowski won all four objectives as Dortmund thrashed Real Madrid 4-1 in the very first leg of the Champions League semi-final on Wednesday evening but much of the post-match chat centred around his future. His contract ends at the conclusion of next period, making Dortmund in the unenviable position of experiencing to decide whether to cash in come early july or chance seeing the 24-year-old leave on a free in 2014. Accounts in Germany on Thursday suggested they've opted for the former with the player's agent, Maik Barthel, indicating Dortmund have sanctioned his departure. "We have reached an agreement with a team and mean [him] to move this summer," Barthel told Sport Bild. "There is really a very interesting offer for Robert which fulfils entirely the demands set by Dortmund and also the demands of Robert. Dortmund have assured us that Robert may move at the conclusion of the summer season under these conditions. We adhere to agreements and now it's as much as the clubs to sort things out." Barthel stopped short of calling the club under consideration but speculation suggests it is Bayern Munich, who earlier in the day this week agreed to activate the a37m release condition of the Dortmund playmaker Mario GAtze. Dropping two of their finest players to their closest domestic opponents will be a major drawback for Dortmund, who're also more likely to satisfy Bayern in the Champions League final after the Bavarians' 4-0 defeat of Barcelona on Tuesday night. "We are getting 37 million for GAtze which we do not even want," said the instructor, JArgen Klopp, echoing the words of the club's general manager, Hans-Joachim Watzke, who said he could "do without" a transfer price for Lewandowski, provided that he stays for another year. Watzke included on Sky television: "Our desire is explicit that he remains here. It all surprises me. We are willing to do without a transfer payment for him [if he leaves as a free agent in 2014]. I have had plenty of desires within my life which have come true." GAtze and Lewandowski mixed for Dortmund's starting purpose against Madrid on Wednesday night prior to the former Lech Poznan striker took centre stage, netting three more times to leave JosA Mourinho's area having an uphill job at the BernabAu a few weeks. His performance was no real surprise given his record this season. He's scored 34 objectives in 42 games and has netted in every one of his past 12 Bundesliga performances.
