The 20-year-old has been in blistering form this season, scoring 16 times in serie A, as well as bagging his first international goal for Italy.

Wanted man: AC Milan's Italian international forward Stephan El Shaarawy is unlikely to be on his way to join Roberto Mancini at Manchester City

'It seems to me that Milan have made an investment,' La Florio told Radio Kiss Kiss. 'Milan's choice is to let young players grow. In addition to El Shaarawy, there is also [Mattia] De Sciglio.

'Anyway, the market will open in June, even if I think I have understood that Milan haven't got the intention to deprive themselves of El Shaarawy.
