Fulham winger Ashkan Dejagah to miss rest of time - The Independent

Hurt Fulham midfielder Ashkan Dejagah may miss out the rest of the Barclays Premier League year, director Martin Jol has proved. Dejagah involves an operation to repair foot tendon destroyed encountered when he collided having an advertising hoarding in Fulham's 3-2 triumph over QPR on April 1. The Iranian will get underneath the knife a few weeks and he'll perhaps not play again this plan. "Ashkan Dejagah requires a procedure on his ankle ligament. That will be in a few days and I believe he'll be out for the rest of the season," Jol said. Jol is waiting to find out whether Cameroon international midfielder Eyong Enoh is going to be fit for Saturday's Barclays Premier League trip to Aston Villa. Enoh limped off in Fulham's defeat at Newcastle a week ago and Jol said: "We is going to do an assesment tomorrow. He could probably play but we are not sure yet." Fulham visit Villa Park with Jol assuming the team need one more win to ensure their leading journey place for next year. The Lilywhites face a Villa side battling because of their own survival, with Paul Lambert's guys only two points above the relegation zone. "I feel we truly need yet another win since you never know. Reasonably we are fine but when everyone starts earning within the last six or eight fits then you might have a problem," Jol said. "Hopefully we will get yourself a handful of results in the next about a week. "Overall we have done well away from home. There have probably been a lot of draws and even at Newcastle we're able to have done better. It is disappointing to agree in the 93rd moment. "They [Villa] have quality. They have (Christian) Beneteke, (Gabriel) Agbonlahor, also (Darren) Bent on the counter. If you look at their results, particularly at home, they're OK." Missouri
