Savic tells Manchester City to be joined by Jovetic - Yahoo! Sports

Savic thinks Jovetic is good enough to produce a move to at least one of Europe's top clubs and has urged the forward to move to the Etihad Stadium despite his or her own difficulties in Manchester. The 22-year-old opponent joined City from Partizan Belgrade but lasted only 1 time before going to Fiorentina in a trade offer for Matija Nastasic. "Jovetic could perform for the Mail was told by one of the top clubs," Savic on Sunday. "I hope he does because he's among my best friends. I'd suggest City to him. I think City's a growing group, one of the best clubs in Europe. They will win awards and take the Champions League every year." Although Savic left City after only 1 year, he demands his move to Fiorentina was only due to his development. With Jovetic, a finished product is seen by Savic. "It was difficult for me personally there because I came directly from the Serbian group. A league title was won by me but after a season, I knew I'd to perform often as a person to improve. So I left City - it absolutely was my decision," Savic discussed. "It differs for Stevan. He's five years experience, he could play right away with Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez." Savic claims that Jovetic's technical quality and determination can be in comparison to that of Manchester United star Wayne Rooney. "He is a second striker, just like Rooney since he is good with the ball, gifted officially and intelligent," he stated. "Off the frequency he is a quiet person but about it, he fights."
