Crowne Plaza Invitational Play Suspended Due to Inclement Weather on Morning 2.

Inclement weather was just about the only thing that could stop Shiny Kuchar in Friday's second round with the 2013 Crowne Plaza Invitational.

Kuchar was five-under par with 15 holes and status in good position to the 16th green when officers suspended play at Colonial due to an impending storm in the neighborhood (h/t Jimmy Burch in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram). The 34-year-old Kuchar could be the highest-ranked player who made the trip to Fort Worth this weeks time, and he's looked it for the course has mostly stayed in low numbers.

Kuchar will resume the course Saturday morning to complete his final three rips, where he will require a one-stroke lead over Graham DeLaet.
